The countdown continues! Only 4 days until we kick off 24 hour worship. We cant wait to see the miracles and breakthrough that will come from this night and day event.

Pastor Marc Cooper // September 19
This week we will be hearing from Pastor Marc Cooper. Pastor Marc is coming all the way from Bethel Church in Redding, California! We can't wait to hear what words he has for us on Saturday! As always we will be having dinner beforehand and coffee after! We can't wait to see you soon!
"LOOK! I can move my wrist again!"
Reading through the gospels you encounter testimonies after testimonies of healings in many forms. Yet of all the time spent on social media and the news it is rare to see them these days. HOWEVER we still have the anointing to heal through the power of GOD!
The other week we had a guy come up for prayer with a broken wrist---it was disfigured, bones were out of place, swelling was exponential --- it looked nothing like a wrist should look like. He could not bend it and was in "10 out of 10" pain levels if he tried to move it even slightly. He said lifting a cup with that hand would cause enough pain to make him scream. He took off the brace he was wearing and asked a prayer minister to pray (after seeing how disfigured his wrist was, he honestly did NOT have a lot of faith!). As they were praying, he jolted and looked at the prayer minister and said, "I just got zinged!" When he asked what he meant, he said he felt a shot of electricity shoot down his arm. The prayer minister prayed again and soon enough he had almost no pain. He began to move his wrist back and forth (which he could not do before) and regained almost FULL range of motion without any pain! He went around the entire room showing people and telling them "Look!! I can move my wrist again!"
The stories continue and to God be given all the glory! Mahalo for those willing to step forward in faith and receive his miracles!

Aloha friends! Come join us tomorrow, August 15th, for Surfers Church! We will be hearing from Jonas Nystrom this week and we'd love to see you. But please remember, we will not be having dinner tomorrow night, however we will have desserts, coffee, and fellowship after the service as normal! We hope to see you soon!
Pastor John Rogers // August 1
Tonight at Surfers Church, pastor John Rogers, from Door of Faith Church will be speaking at 7:15 and it'll be great! We also have dinner again this week, so come hungry! And as always, we will be having 50¢ coffee after service! We look forward to seeing you soon!
Farewell Katie!
This week we will be saying goodbye to our dear friend, Katie Connor. Over the past three and half years, Katie has been an integral part of Surfers Church, fulfilling many different roles, but most notable helping run the youth group “Jesus Saves” on Saturday nights.
While we are sad to see Katie leave, we know there are exciting things waiting for her as she moves to the big island to learn how to be a midwife. She will be working with an organization called “Go Midwife” which helps train women to be midwives on the mission field. During this six month training program, Katie will be learning the basics of midwifery, apprenticing under a licensed midwife, and traveling to Togo, Africa, to put her training to use.
With this training, Katie’s goal is to go to impoverished countries in order to help establish birthing clinics. It is her dream to be able to make these clinics self-sustaining, training each woman to be able to train others, eventually working herself out of a job to start again in a new area.

We are incredibly sad to see Katie leave, but we know that with this new training God will be able to use here in new ways across the globe.
